Businesses from every corner of the food industry come to us for branded packaging. Our setup means we can cater for start-ups and pop-ups as readily as we can large national chains. Our service is tailored to the individual needs of every customer, meaning it can sometimes be easier to show you how we operate using real-life examples.
Poppie’s is renowned for their authentic fish and chips – and it’s little wonder, with born and bred East-end proprietor, Pat ‘Pop’ Newland, at the helm. Pop’s career in the fish and chip business started in 1952 when, aged 11, he got a job on Roman Road cutting up copies of The Daily Mirror to wrap fish and chips in.
Problem
Poppies first approached us some years ago with the need for fully bespoke packaging, but like most food restaurants the jump to branded goods can seem like a big hurdle, especially when there are multiple shops to deal with. The client was adamant that they wanted a seamless transition to bespoke packaging, as well as having CP-Packaging monitor stock level so that no outlet goes without packaging.
Solutions
Following our meeting with the client we went to work quickly on building a timeline to manage and monitor production to ensure stock levels. We now have dedicated members of staff who monitor each of the items for the client, ensuring there is always a reserve in the event a shop is out of packaging. As well as dealing with storage and distribution for the client.
